Even though the large industrial players can outspend startups in marketing, a major source of innovation is from young and aggressive newcomers. With notable exceptions, we have highlighted companies that are lesser known.

Because the Maintenance 4.0 category is relatively new, there is a mix of new and older vendors. In categories such as drone assisted repair, there are multiple emerging vendors and few existing options to choose from. Conversely, automated repair scheduling is an established discipline with large, well-known solutions such as IFS World.
